FIDE World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad 2022 – LIVE

The FIDE World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2022 starts tomorrow in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan, and will be played from 1-11 October in Nakhchivan Chess Center. 34 teams from 24 countries registered for the event which will be played in 9 rounds, Swiss system, with the time control of 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the end of the games, with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1. Each match between teams will be played over 4 boards.
