The ex-President of Moldova and current President of Moldova Chess Federation was arrested on Tuesday after a raid on his home. The 47-year-old Igor Dodon, a pro-Kremlin politician and leader of the Socialist Party, is under investigation for alleged corruption, treason, illicit enrichment, and “illegal party financing”.
