The American Continental Championship is an 11-round Swiss tournament taking place from 1-10 June, 2018 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

11th Mumbai Mayor’s Cup is held from 3 to 9 June in Mumbai.
The venue is Mount Litera School International BKC. The tournament is divided in 3 sections.
216 players are taking part in the group A.

The 19th Karpov International Chess Tournament is taking place in the small Siberian town of Poikovsky, Russia from 27 May to 5 June. The venue is the Sports School “Neptune” in Poikovsky, Nefteyugansk Ugra, Russia.

The 2018 Top 12 French Team Championship is taking place from 26 May to 5 June in Brest. The 12 best French teams play a single round-robin over 11 rounds.

The traditional friendly match between China and Russia is taking place from 26th May to 1st June in Qinhuangdao, China.

The match consists of one round of classical chess and two rounds of blitz.

One month before the start of the Silver Lake Chess Festival 2018 there are already 220 registered participants from 23 countries. Among them are 68 titled players, including 18 Grandmasters and 21 International Masters.

The 1st Longtou Cup “Belt and Road” Chess Open is a 9-round Swiss open taking place in Qinhuangdao, China from 26 May to 4 June. The time control is 90 minutes for all moves, with a 30-second increment from move.

Lueneburger Chess Festival will be held from 6 to 13 July at Hotel-Seminaris Lueneburg.
The tournament is divided in 3 sections.
A-Open (open to all)
B-Open (open for players from 1200 to 1800)
C-Open (open to players up to 1400)

The 37th Zalakaros Open is a 9-round Swiss tournament taking place from 25 May to 2 June, 2018 in Zalakaros, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

10th Rheinland-Pfalz-Open Nickenich will be held from 31 May to 3 June in Nickenich.
Around 200 players are expected to take part. The top seeded are GM Alexandre Dgebuadze, GM Viesturs Meijers etc…
