The premier computer chess event TCEC Season 10 is starting next week with the participation of the strongest chess software.

The record breaking season 10 of the premier chess engine championship TCEC is going to start October 10th, 2017. It is a compact three stage championship, involving the current best chess software as well as engines that aim high and continue working for the progress of the computer engine field.

TCEC Season 10 is going to start in the beginning of October.

Chess.com Isle of Man 2017 is going to take place 23 September to 1 October 2017 in Douglas, Isle of Man.

The event is an open tournament with an amazing field including Magnus Carlsen, Vladimir Kramnik, Fabiano Caruana, Viswanathan Anand, Hikaru Nakamura, Michael Adams, Boris Gelfand, Pavel Eljanov, Francisco Vallejo Pons, Zoltan Almasi, etc. Scroll down for the list of the top 100 participants in Isle of Man 2017, the list includes over 70 GMs and many more titled players.

TCEC Season 10 is starting in about a month. Behind the scenes active preparation is going on for holding the 2017 season of the world’s premium computer chess event.

1121 young players coming from 46 European federations registered for the European Youth Chess Championship 2017 which takes place in Mamaia, Romania, from 4th-15th September.

The Championship will be played in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18, boys and girls separately. The top three players in each group will be awarded cups and medals while the first five players will be awarded cups, diplomas and valuable prizes. Each participant will receive presents.

One of the main events in the chess life of the capital – the final of the Moscow Blitz Championship – will take place on Sunday, 3rd September, at the the media hall of the hypermall “Gorbushkin Dvor”.

The opening ceremony of the FIDE World Cup took place at the Funicular restaurant in Tbilisi on 2nd September 2017.

The players and guests were greeted by the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia Tariel Khechikashvili, the ECU President Zurab Azmaiparashvili, the President of Georgian Chess Federation George Giorgadze and the FIDE Deputy President Georgios Makropoulos.

The World Chess Cup 2017 will be held from 2nd to 27th of September in Hualing Hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia. The final will take place in the Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi from 23rd till 27th of September.
