Martyn Kravtsiv edges Luka Paichadze on tie-break to win Mumbai Mayor’s Cup

Grandmasters Martyn Kravtsiv (Ukraine) and Luka Paichadze (Georgia) concluded the campaign in the 8th Mumbai Mayor’s Cup with 8,0/10 points each. After breaking the tie Kravtsiv was awarded with the winner’s trophy.

ECU Board Meeting in Bucharest

The ECU Board Meeting will take place this week on 12-13 June, in the city of Bucharest, after the kind invitation of the Romanian Chess Federation.

The meeting will take place in the RIN Grand Hotel in Bucharest.

With a record 459 players from 18 countries, the 16th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships has now begun in Singapore where the SEA (South East Asian) Games in also currently concurrently taking place and which is also part of the island nation 50th anniversary celebrations.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Doha, Qatar – Results

From 28 to 31 May 2015 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Doha, Qatar, by the Qatar Chess Association, in cooperation with the Qatar Olympic Academy and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Councilor and FIDE Lecturer and Assistant lecturer was IA Michael Shadarevian (SYR).

The seminar was held in the venue of Qatar Olympic Academy in Doha.

The lectures were in Arabic and in English language.
