The event is an 11-round Swiss FIDE blitz open tournament with prize fund in the amount of EUR 10,300 with EUR 2,000 reserved for the winner.

A total of 680 participants have already subscribed for the tournament.

GM Luke McShane wins London Chess Classic Super RapidPlay, which was held over the weekend alongside the main tournament, scoring a near perfect 9.5/10 points. The tournament featured 368 players from 47 different countries, with 226 players from the English federation.
