The 2015 Portuguese Rapid Final is taking place on Sunday, November 15th, in Mirandela, Portugal.

The event is an 8 player round-robin tournament with tempo of play 15′ + 10″.

The 2nd Sunway Sitges International Chess Festival 2015 will be held from 13-20th December at the Sunway Playa Golf Sitges Hotel & Spa in Sitges, Barcelona, Spain.

The 9-round Swiss event will have two sections: Group A open to all players and valid for title norms, and Group B reserved for U2000 players.

A total of 19,700 EUR in cash prizes will be distributed among over 100 players. Top prizes in the Group A are 2000 € / 1200 € / 800 € / 700 € / 550 € etc
