The 10. Zudov Memorial Chess Tournament is taking place on 10-19th September 2014 in Nizhny Tagil, a city of Russia, located 25 kilometers east of the virtual border between Europe and Asia.

The event is a 9-round Swiss with prize fund in the amount of 450.000 RUB. Top seed is GM Zaven Andriasian (Armenia) 2622.

The final event of the Moscow Blitz Chess Championship took place on 6th September, traditionally in the open air, in front of the VDNH House of Culture.

Invited Grandmasters and players qualified from five semifinal events formed the field of 20 participants.

In addition there were also final Moscow Blitz Championships for women, veterans and juniors.
