Awonder Liang is the winner of the 2024 Illinois Chess Open. He collected 6,5/7 to win the strong open ahead of IM Alexander Velikanov, Jonathan Kogen, FM Ochirbat Lkhagvajamts, FM Spencer George Lehmann, CM Avi Harrison Kaplan, etc.
