World Chess Championship 2024 tickets are on sale

The FIDE World Chess Championship 2024 will be a 14 games match between the reigning world champion Ding Liren and the challenger Gukesh D to determine the World Chess Champion. The match is scheduled to take place between November 23 and December 15, 2024, with Singapore hosting the match. Google was announced as Title Sponsor of World Chess Championship 2024.

Jergus Pechac is the winner of Slovakia Chess Open

Jergus Pechac is the winner of Slovakia Chess Open. Pechac won the exe Slovakia Chess Open in Bratislava with 7,5/9. With the same points is Israel’s junior Yuval Yaniv, but better tiebreak gave the title to Jergus Pechac.

A total of 160 players competed in the event. Top woman of the event is WFM Svenja Butenandt with 5,5/9.
