The 2022 Turkish Chess Championship took place from 25 November to 3 December in Keymer. It was a 10-player round-robin tournament with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. 

FIDE Council approves resolution on performing under FIDE flag

FIDE Council approved the below-mentioned changes to the simplified procedure for performing under the FIDE flag for players representing Russia/Belarus:

The right to play under the FIDE flag is granted until January 1 2024, unless decided otherwise. After this period, in the absence of other requests, the player will automatically be returned to the previous federation. 

Hungarian Women’s Championship 2022 – LIVE

The Hungarian Women’s Championship is taking place from 5–13 December 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with Julianna Terbe, Barbara Mihok-Juhasz, Bianka Havanecz, Dorina Demeter, Hanna Krisztina Ivan-Gal, Kata Karacsonyi, Boglarka Erdos, Zsuzsanna Terbe, Eszter Dudas and Fruzsina Szente Varga.

The Hungarian Championship is taking place from 5–13 December 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with Ferenc Berkes, Peter Prohaszka, Gabor Papp, Sergey Grigoriants, Adam Kozak, Bence Korpa, Tamas Jr. Fodor, Csaba Horvath, Gabor Nagy and Adam Horvath.

Israeli Women’s Championship 2022 – LIVE

The Israeli Women’s Championship is taking place from 5–13 December 2022 in Arad, Romania. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with Marsel Efroimski, Yuliya Shvayger, Dana Kochavi, Nadejda Reprun, Ronit Levitan, Noga Orian, Sofiia Tashkinova, Julia Kluchik, Lena Brusilovski and Lilia Ovechkin.

The Israeli Championship is taking place from 5–13 December 2022 in Arad, Romania. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Tamir Nabaty, Evgeny Postny, Ori Kobo, Avital Boruchovsky, Victor Mikhalevski, Ariel Erenberg, David Gorodetzky, Evgeny Zanan, Yair Parkhov, Ido Gorshtein, Semen I. Dvoirys, Eytan Rozen, Yeshaayahu Tzidkiya, Or Bronstein, Yahli Sokolovsky, etc.
