Pool B of the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament is hosted in the ancient city of Khiva, in Uzbekistan.

The IV Festival Internacional DUCHAMP in RIO Master is taking place from 7-14 December 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss system tournament.

The Palmanova Festival B is taking place from 8–11 December 2022 in Strassoldo, Italy. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 6-round Swiss tournament with Sergio Giuriato, Vito Bizzoco, Alisher Akhmedov, Luca  Predan, Igor Azinovic, Armin Haselsberger, Asia De Bianchi, Giovanni Dallaglio, Alberto Celadon, Fosco Gasperi, etc.

Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.  It is a 6-round Swiss tournament with Gabriele Lumachi, Aleksandar Savanovic, Dusan Lekic, Alexander Gschiel, Siegfried Neuschmied, Leonardo Loiacono, Leo Titze, Ivano Ceschia, Oleg Iolis, Neven Hercegovac, etc.

The 3rd edition of the El Llobregat Open Chess Tournament 2022 takes place from November 30 to December 8 in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain gathering 50 grandmasters, 44 international masters and a total of 172 players fighting for the prize fund of 29.500eur!

The first game of the FIDE Women’s Candidates Pool B finals saw a great fight of 100 moves between Aleksandra Goryachkina and Tan Zhongyi. The Chinese grandmaster seemed to have great chances to score a full point, but Goyachkina was solid and held a draw.

After nearly 100 hard-fought moves, GM Aleksandra Goryachkina and GM Tan Zhongyi agreed to a draw by move repetition in the first of their four scheduled games. The semi-final of the 2002 FIDE Women’s Candidates (Pool B) is taking place in Khiva, Uzbekistan, and the winner will face Pool A winner, GM Lei Tingjie, in the final.

The 1st International Al-Beruniy Chess Tournament took place from November 29 to December 3 in Khiva, Uzbekistan, simultaneously with the FIDE Women’s Candidates Pool B tournament.

The Serbian Women Chess Championship 2022 will be held from 6-14 December in Bajina Basta, concurrently with the 2022 Serbian Chess Championship. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes till the end of the game, with the increment of 30 seconds per each move starting from the move one.

The Serbian Women Chess Championship 2022 will be held from 6-14 December in Bajina Basta, concurrently with the 2022 Serbian Chess Championship. It will be a 10-player round-robin tournament, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes till the end of the game, with the increment of 30 seconds per each move starting from the move one.
