The FIDE World Team Championship 2022 will take place from 19 to 26 November in Jerusalem, Israel. It will be a twelve-team championship with China, France, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and Ukraine competing in Pool A, and Azerbaijan, India, Israel, Poland, USA and Uzbekistan competing in Pool B. 

The 1st European Small Nations Individual Women Chess Championship will be held from Saturday 19 November – Sunday 27 November 2022 in Monaco. Ten players representing Andorra, Cyprus, Guernsey, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, and San Marino will compete in 9 rounds, round-robin system.

Asian Girls Junior Championship is taking place in Tagaytay City, Philippines. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Amina Kairbekova, Assel Serikbay, Ravi Rakshitta, Nazerke Nurgali, Ngoc Thuy Duong Bach, Anousha Mahdian, Jia-Tien Chua, Anahita Zahedifar, Dhea Safitri, Patil Bhagyashree, etc.

FIFA World Cup 2022 is about to start in Qatar and Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi chose to prepare for the event by playing a chess game. “Victory is a State of Mind“, wrote Ronaldo on his twitter account and shared the photo taken by Annie Leibovitz at the Louis Vuitton shooting.

Asian Junior Championship is taking place in Tagaytay City, Philippines. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Mark Jay Bacojo, Saha Neelash, G B Harshavardhan, Sugar Gan-Erdene, Arman Hakemi, Chatterjee Utsab, Duy Dau Khuong, Jerico M Santiaguel, Al-Basher Buto, etc.

Cascavel Blitz is taking place from 19–20 November 2022 in Cascavel, Brazil. Players receive 3 minutes for the entire game, plus a 2-second increment starting from move one. It is a  7-round Swiss tournament with Jaime Sunye Neto, Marcelo Villalba, Zini Jhone Marcelo, Jose Apuril, Jhonatan Rodrigues Da Luz, Vinicius Savaris Rech, Ulises Cristaldo, Fernando Miguel Kuhn, Rafael Tuma Soares, Heloise De Oliveira Biazon, etc.

The final event of the 1.6$ Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022 will be held from 14-20 November in San Francisco. Eight elite chess stars will take part in the third and final major in a unique online and in-person hybrid chess event. Four players will compete from SHACK15 in San Francisco, while four will play remotely. 

Vezerkepzo GM November is taking place from 17-26 November 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. It is an 12-player Round-robin GM norm tournament with Valeriy Neverov, Stanislaw Zylka, Belurkar Nitish, Bobir Sattarov, Edward Song, Walia Namitbir Singh, Jimmy Jubin, Tripathi Adarsh, Vuppala Prraneeth, Zoltan Varga, Valeriy Aveskulov and Tamas Jr. Fodor.

Portuguese Rapid Championship is taking place on 19 November 2022 in Felgueiras, Portugal. It is a 8-round Swiss tournament with Miguel Sismeiro, Andre Ventura Sousa, Bruno Andre Leite Martins, Luis Sousa Reis, Paul-Mihai Avramescu, etc.
