Maplewood Invitational is taking place from 14-19 November 2022 in Waterloo, Quebec, Canada. It is a 10-player Round-robin tournament with Bator Sambuev, Nikolay Noritsyn, Toms Kantans, Marin Bosiocic, Artiom Samsonkin, Mark Plotkin, Isan Reynaldo Ortiz Suarez, Jason Liang, Shawn Rodrigue-Lemieux and G V Sai Krishna.

28th Vojvodina Women’s Open Team Championship is taking place from 17–20 November 2022 in Senta.

Bangladesh 41st National Women’s Chess Championship is taking place from 17-28 November 2022 in Bangladesh. It is a 10-round chess tournament with Nazrana Khan, Khusbu Warsia, Tasnim Kazi Zarin, Marjana Sabiha, Walijah Ahmed,Ahmed Wadifa, Rani Hamid, Ferdous Jannatul, Anjum Noshin, Orpa Tasnia Tarannum, Alo Nusrat Jahan, Talukder Umme Taslima Protiva.

European Chess Union announces the 1st European Cities & Towns Chess Championship which will take place on Sunday, 23rd January 2023, in hybrid cities venues. The event consists of four categories: Open, Women, Seniors, and Youth (U12). The first edition of the new European Competition is supported by the FIDE Development fund.

Each City or Town has the right to nominate one team of 4 players in each of 4 categories:

The final event of the 1.6$ Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022 will be held from 14-20 November in San Francisco. Eight elite chess stars will take part in the third and final major in a unique online and in-person hybrid chess event. Four players will compete from SHACK15 in San Francisco, while four will play remotely. 

FIDE announced the composition of the FIDE Commissions for the period 2022-2026. In total, the commissions amount to a considerable workforce amount, with a total of 285 people, in which 111 of our member federations are represented: 53 from Africa, 58 from America, 61 from Asia, and 108 from Europe. Of them, 78 are women (27%), and 207 are men (73%).

The 64th World Congress of Chess Composition takes place in Fujairah, UAE, from the 12th to the 19th of November. There are many events scheduled, including the 45th World Chess Solving Championship. 

Beirut Open is taking place from 12–19 November 2022 in Beirut, Lebanon. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Amro El Jawich, Malek. Koniahli, Shahin Lorparizangeneh, Abdelrahman Hesham, Joe Assaad, Azer Mirzoev, Ahmad Najjar, Amir Zaibi, Alexander Raetsky, etc.
