65+ FIDE World Senior Chess Championship will be held from 14-27 November in Assisi – Umbria Italy. The Championship will be played with time control 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1. In category 65+ will participate John D M Nunn, Vlastimil Jansa, Jean Hebert, Fikret Sideifzade, Nona Gaprindashvili, Boris Maryasin, Nathan Birnboim, Terry P D Chapman, Peter Petran, etc.

The Norwegian Youth Championship will take place in Molde, Norway from the 18th to the 20th of November. It is a 7-round Dutch Swiss with Johan-Sebastian Christiansen, David Hellesoy, Mathias Unneland, Leo Moen Eidet, Nikolai Olsen Wernberg, Shazil Shehzad, Elma Selvik, etc.

Time control :
Rounds 1-2: 15 minutes for the entire game with a 5-second increment beginning from move 1.
Rounds 3-7: 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment beginning from move 1.

The final event of the 1.6$ Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022 will be held from 14-20 November in San Francisco. Eight elite chess stars will take part in the third and final major in a unique online and in-person hybrid chess event. Four players will compete from SHACK15 in San Francisco, while four will play remotely.
