The FIDE World Team Championship 2022 will take place from 19 to 26 November in Jerusalem, Israel. It will be a twelve-team championship with China, France, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and Ukraine competing in Pool A, and Azerbaijan, India, Israel, Poland, USA and Uzbekistan competing in Pool B. The best ranked four teams of each pool will advance to the knock-out stage, where they will play Quarter-finals, Semi-Finals, and Final, with each duel consisting of two matches between the teams.

The 2022 Chinese Chess Championships took place from 2-11 November in Xinghua, Jiangsu province. Both Open and Women’s tournaments were 12-player round robins with classical time control. 

IM Dai Changren was the sole winner of the Open tournament with 7/11 points, with GM Zhao Jun clinching silver with 6.5 points. GM Xu Xiangyu and GM Li Di tied for bronze scoring 6 points, each.

New York Fall Invitational IM (D) is taking place from 9–13 November 2022 in New York, USA. It is an 10-player round-robin tournament with Mike Zaloznyy, Chawit Asavasaetakul, Mykola Bortnyk, Attila Istvan Csonka, Konstantin Dolgitser, Kyron Griffith, Ryan Goldenberg, Jiangwei Yu, Danila Poliannikov, Zachary Tanenbaum.

The Final stage of the Italian Championship is a 12-player round-robin tournament, held from November 12th to 23rd in Cagliari, Italy.

Time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves and then by 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-seconds increment starting from move one.

New York Fall Invitational GM (B) is taking place from 9–13 November 2022 in New York, USA. It is an 10-player round-robin tournament with Mark Paragua, Farai Mandizha, Zurab Javakhadze, Josiah Stearman, Tanitoluwa Adewumi,
Djurabek Khamrakulov, Nicholas Vettese, Aaron Jacobson, Leonid Yudasin, Shelev Oberoi.

New York Fall Invitational GM (A) is taking place from 9–13 November 2022 in New York, USA. It is an 10-player round-robin tournament with Kassa Korley, Nico Chasin, Justus Williams, Titas Stremavicius, Alexander Kaliksteyn, Robby Kevlishvili, Gabor Nagy, Jagadeesh Siddharth, Aleksandr Ostrovskiy, Pedro Alejandro Jimenez Fraga.

European Youth Chess Championship G10 is taking place from 6–14 November 2022 in Antalya, Turkey.

More than 1000 players from 46 European federations take part in the tournament which is played in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18, open and girls sections separately.
