The final match of the FIDE Women’s World Chess Championship started in SCC Galactica (Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana) on April 2.

Objective: To educate and certify Organizers on an international basis. The seminar is co-organized during the Russian Youth Chess Championship by the Russian Chess Federation with the support of FIDE Events’ Commission (EVE).

The 42nd International Chess Tournament La Roda (Albacete) is taking place from 1-5th April, 2015, at La Caja Blanca in La Roda, Albacete, Spain.

The event is a 9-round Swiss tournament with tempo of play 90′ + 30″.

GM Julio Granda Zuniga (2649) from Peru heads the field of 252 players from 16 different countries, including 12 GMs.

The 2015 edition of OGD Prinsenstad Weekender is taking place on 3-5th April, 2015, at the auditorium of the Grotius College, in Delft, the Netherlands.

The event is organized by OGD and the Delfise Chess Club (DSC) in 6 rounds with tempo of play 100′ + 10″.

The prize fund of the festival is nearly 4,000 € and 1,000 € of them will be distributed to the winner.

The LXI Mexican International Open Tournament is taking place from 31st March to 5th April, 2015, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel****, in the city of Monterrey, the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León in the country of Mexico.

The 122nd Scottish Championship and International Open will take place at the Tom Fleming Centre in Stewart’s Melville College in Edinburgh on July 11-19, 2015.

A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 16 to 19 April 2015 in Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia, by the Saudi Chess Association and under the auspices of FIDE.
