The 18^th Dubai Open Chess Tournament – Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum Cup is scheduled to take place from April 10-20, 2016, at the Dubai Chess & Culture Club’s Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Hall.

The Middle East’s longest-running elite chess tournament will be open to all FIDE-rated players with a standard rating of 1500 and above.

The participants will be vying for the prize fund in the amount of US$ 50,000, with US$ 13,000 reserved for the winner.
