European Women Chess Championship 2022 takes place on August 19th – September 1st, 2022 in the Don Giovanni hotel Prague (Czech Republic). 125 players from 27 European federations registered for the event. There are 107 titled players, with 7 Grandmasters, 21 International masters, 23 Women Grandmasters, 28 Women International masters and a total of 108 titled players.

The 28th Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival is going to take place 17-25 August, 2022, in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will be a 9 rounds Swiss System with a time control of 90 min for each player and 30 seconds’ increment. 30 minutes tolerance will be applied. The organizing committee shall provide free accommodation in a five-star hotel for players rated 2600+ and women with standard Elo of 2400+.
