Interview with Tin Jingyao

We sat down with Singapore’s latest IM Tin Jingyao, winner of the ASEAN+ Age-Group Championships U-20 Open soon after he dropped to the Open U-16 category for the Rapid Chess competition where he picked up yet another individual success and also helped Singapore to the Open U-16 Rapid team Gold.

PL: Hi Jingyao, Thanks for taking the time to talk to us and congratulations on winning yet another Gold Medal! Let’s start by asking if this event is your most memorable.

The 19th Voronezh International Chess Festival 2015 is currently in progress at the Voronezh Chess Club, in Voronezh, Russian Federation.

Igor Glek is a Russian chess Grandmaster who now competes for Germany. As well as this, he is a chess theorist, a coach, the President of the World League of Chess Tournaments and a co-founder of the ACP.

Karen Asrian Memorial 2015 LIVE!

The Armenian Chess Federation is organizing an international open chess tournament, dedicated to the memory of GM Karen Asrian, which will take place on June 15-25, 2015, in the prominent resort town of Jermuk.

All interested chess players can participate in the 9-round Swiss tournament. GM Karen Grigoryan was the winner of the 7th Asrian Memorial.

3rd Cesme Open 2015 LIVE!

The 3rd International Chess Festival Cesme Open 2015 is held from 15-20th June, at the Cesme Aya Haralambos Church, in Cesme, a splendid coastal Turkish city, situated near the largest metropolitan center in Turkey’s Aegean Region, Izmir.

Turkish Chess Federation and Cesme Municipality organize the event in a 9-round Swiss format with the hefty prize fund in total of 33,500 TL (nearly 12,000 €). The tempo of play is 90′ + 30″.
